On Tuesday, the solidarity conference organized by the foundation Digestscience on “Physical Activity, Gut Microbiota, and Nutrition in Digestive Health: What We Need to Know in 2025″ occurred at Campus Lesaffre.
A huge thank you to the DigestScience Foundation, Dr. Pierre Desreumaux, the founder, and all the speakers for their insightful and high-quality contributions. We were honored to welcome the foundation and engage in meaningful discussions with the audience about the daily challenges faced by patients with digestive diseases such as Crohn’s disease and IBS.
This conference provided valuable insights into the vital connection between physical activity, gut microbiota, and nutrition—key factors in promoting human health.
The foundation invited Florian Mourey, Substantiation Plan Manager at Gnosis by Lesaffre, to present our probiotic yeast strain S. cerevisiae CNCM I-3856 and the clinical studies that have proven its effectiveness in reducing IBS symptoms and enhancing quality of life. This groundbreaking research, conducted over more than 10 years in collaboration with Professor Desreumaux, has yielded valuable insights into its therapeutic potential.
