With ever-growing evidence of the importance of Vitamin K2, not only for stronger bone and heart health but also for other critical functions in the body, raising public awareness is crucial. As Gnosis by Lesaffre joins ILSI’s newly established Task Force on Vitamin K2, we are taking a joint step further.
ILSI Europe (International Life Sciences Institute) fosters collaboration among leading scientists to provide evidence-based scientific consensus on nutrition, food safety, toxicology, risk assessment, and the environment. In February 2024, it launched a new task force on Vitamin K2 to advance health understanding and economic insights.
Building on A Foundation of Clinical Research
Increasing K2 Awareness - A Potential for Health Cost Savings
The Task Force’s main objective is to assess the scientific evidence that supports various health benefits linked to Vitamin K2. It aims to identify and evaluate potential biomarkers for monitoring Vitamin K2 status. Further, it will conduct a comprehensive nutrition economic study to determine the potential healthcare cost savings for Europe associated with Vitamin K2 supplementation.
A Panel of Vitamin K2 Experts
We are excited to expand our dedication to educating and raising awareness about the health benefits of vitamin K2, now through our involvement in the ILSI Task Force on K2.
