    Oral rehydration is central in the World Health Organization’s guidelines on the management of acute diarrhea in children.     Classified as a subspecies of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM-I3799 is specific strain of probiotic yeast, which differs considerably from many probiotic bacteria strains.
