Extrafolate-S® Portfolio
Extrafolate-S® is the calcium salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, and it is intended for use as an alternative to folic acid in dietary supplements, foods for particular nutritional purposes and regular foods.
Extrafolate-S® is the essential active form in which natural folates enter the human circulation, providing higher bioavailability and avoiding concerns about the interaction between vitamin B12 and folic acid supplementation responsible for masking symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency.
